This Christmas season, join us each Sunday at 10:30 AM as we discover "The Joy of the Magi". In this three part teaching series, we will answer some of the greatest questions surrounding these men and follow the Magi on their Journey to find Jesus.
Wise Men Seek Him
In this sermon, we will learn about the life of the Magi. We will learn who they are and from where they came. How did they know to go to Bethlehem when they saw the star? And we will learn a valuable truth for us today. Wise men still seek him who is born in Bethlehem. Not in the way the Magi sought him, but in a living way to leads to life.
Follow That Star
Once the star appeared over Bethlehem, the Magi had a choice to make: observe the star from afar, or journey to see the object up close and personal. We look back and know their response. They wanted to see more. They acted upon their curiosity, and it brought them face to face with the promised Christ. This Christmas, let's not worship the promised Christ from afar but rather face to face.
We Offer Gifts
The Magi brought some pretty unusual gifts for the Christ child. But their greatest gifts are often overlooked. The Magi's gifts ensure that the promised child was honored and protected so that all mankind may be able to worship him and find life. May our celebration of Christmas be as fulfilling as the Magi's to see Jesus.
