Serving OUR COmmunity
At Pond Hill Baptist Church, we believe that loving our neighbor starts right where we are. Jesus called us to be His hands and feet—not just across the globe, but right here in our own community. That’s why we partner with trusted local organizations to bring practical help, hope, and the love of Christ to those in need.
Our Local Mission Partners:
Hope Pregnancy Center — Cheshire, CT
Hope Pregnancy Center exists to offer free, compassionate support to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Their mission is to provide life-affirming options, practical resources, and emotional and spiritual care in a safe, confidential setting.
How We Partner:
-
We support them through prayer and financial giving.
-
We participate in seasonal drives and special events.
-
We invite their representatives to share updates and stories of hope with our church family.
The North Haven Food Bank
The North Haven Food Council works to improve access to healthy, affordable food and support food security efforts throughout our region. Their work includes food drives, community gardens, and resource coordination for families in need.
How We Partner:
-
We regularly collect food donations and volunteer at local distribution events.
-
We raise awareness in our church about hunger in our own backyard.
-
We join community-led efforts to promote sustainable, compassionate responses to food insecurity.
