ABOUT US
Our Story
At our core, we're dedicated to helping people know God, grow in their faith, and experience the abundant life available in Christ. We started in 1985 as Hamden Baptist Church, holding our first services in Dunbar Hill Elementary School in Hamden, CT. In 1994, we were blessed to purchase our current location in North Haven. We're still a warm, accepting place where people from Hamden, Wallingford, Northford, and many other communities come together like family. We celebrate diversity, value authentic connections, and create space for every generation to grow in faith—together.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help our neighbors learn and live the abundant life available in Jesus through meaningful worship, authentic relationships, and community involvement.

"Learning to live the Abundant Life in Jesus."
Our Mission
Our Sunday worship gatherings are centered on Christ, creating an atmosphere of authentic worship. Meanwhile, our Kids Church provides a safe and engaging space for children to discover God's love.

Throughout the week, our Life Groups and Support Groups foster authentic relationships and spiritual growth for people of all ages and walks of life. We believe in being an active presence in our community, serving our neighbors through local involvement and ministries that extend compassion to those in need.

Beyond our local community, we are passionately invested in global missions, partnering with ministries around the world to share the hope of Jesus.

Our Values
God at the Center
We believe true life begins when God takes His rightful place. He alone has the authority to guide us, and His way is not only right—it is best. When He leads, we flourish.
The Gift of Togetherness
We believe the church is a diverse family. Sharing life together— celebrating, grieving, laughing, listening—reminds us that joy is sacred and a community is a source of strength.

The Bible Is Our Guide
We believe the Bible is God's voice to humanity. It is our foundation and compass—the heart of everything we teach, shaping how we live, love, and lead.
Love for Our Community
We believe the Church is called to be a living expression of Christ. We seek to love and serve our local neighborhoods with open hands and hearts, becoming part of the healing and hope God is writing here.
Growth Through Relationships
We believe spiritual growth is essential. Faith doesn’t grow in isolation. Discipleship takes root when we walk together—challenging, encouraging, and shaping one another in grace and truth.
A Heart for the World
We believe that the Kingdom of God has no borders. We embrace a global mindset—building relationships, supporting churches, and joining hands in mission so that life may flourish everywhere.
