Find Life in Meaningful Worship

The idea of finding oneself is a topic that is spoken about often in our culture.  It refers to the idea of finding ones purpose.  It is amazing that so many people living life, don't really understand their true purpose.  In John 10:10, Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."  Jesus' claim is that he understand one's true purpose of life.  But it is more than just a claim, it is an offer.  He is saying, "I know the true purpose, and I am willing to share it with you."

His offer is as true today as it was when he originally spoke these words, and he has given this life giving message to people of faith to proclaim.  Each weekend, at Pond Hill Baptist Church, we meet together to celebrate the life we have found in Jesus.  This celebration of faith is called worship.  We rejoice in the life we have found, we pray and seek to understand this life more, and we share the truths we have learned about the life Jesus has for us.

On any given Sunday, you will find us sharing a cup of coffer (or tea) and a story about life.  We will sing a few songs and hear a truth from the Bible.  The environment is casual, the relationships are real, and the teaching helps us live out the life Jesus has for each of us.

Praise ye the LORD.  Praise God in his sanctuary:  Praise him in the firmament of his power.  Praise him for his mighty acts:

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals:

Praise him according to his excellent greatness.  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:  Praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
Praise ye the LORD.
